1: A cost may be the wages for an app developer as they can either pay them at an hourly rate or a fixed total for the whole project this cost affects the app because the more money you spend the bigger the skill set the developer would probably make the app better than one who would spend less.

The other cost is publishing the app this will cost and if the producer wants to make money they should make sure there is a gap in the market for that product or make sure their app is better than its competitors so that they can make a profit.

2: Copyright Act 1976 if a new newspaper has a layout, title or image that could have the same sort of design as another newspaper they could be done for copyright and would potentially be taken to court and fined.

There are many different ways you can use research methods, they all have their advantages and disadvantages and there is not a best method overall the best method will depend what you on doing your research on. Two types of research methods to receive data or information is qualitative or quantitative.
